Leadership Team
Khawaja leads Wireless Works by setting corporate direction and managing the company's strategic relationships and sales and business development efforts. Khawaja founded Wireless Works in 2002 after spending 12 years in strategic planning, business development and management consulting roles. Most recently, he was Vice President of Sales and Business Development at a leading provider of data-mining software, where he developed alliances and distribution channels for the company's software products and led the sales of business intelligence solutions to Fortune 500 clients. Previously, he was Vice President of Technology and Deputy CIO at Network International, the primary channel for disposal of surplus and distressed equipment for the world's leading energy companies. Earlier in his career, as an Executive at Accenture, Khawaja advised Fortune 100 clients and developed business solutions for global operations. A magna cum laude graduate of Coe College in Iowa, he earned a B.A. in Computer Science and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Khawaja also holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin. He is actively involved in mentoring young companies and has served as an advisor to technology startups.
Jinnah oversees all operations at Wireless Works, including technical operations and distribution. He is responsible for management of the company's handset repair facilities located in Sugar Land (Houston area) and Atlanta. Jinnah has invaluable experience in operations with particular insight into the key drivers of growth and profit for retailers. His background includes experience in wireless industry retail sales operations and agent/dealer sales channels, as well as operations management for high growth companies. Previously Jinnah spent seven years at Prime Communications, a major wireless retailer with stores across the southeastern United States. As Vice President of Operations, he was responsible for sales operations and distribution, as well as supply chain management for the rapidly growing company. Jinnah holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems and Accounting from the University of Houston.
Mohammad is responsible for equipment sourcing, utilization forecasting, market analysis and price structuring. He is also responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, international wholesalers and distributors. He has several years of sales and purchasing experience in the wireless industry. Previously he launched and managed the accessory product line for the company and was responsible for day-to-day operations, including procurement and wholesale sales. He began his career as Retail Sales Manager for Prime Communications, one of the largest Cingular agents in the nation, where he was instrumental in identifying and launching new markets for the company. Mohammad has more than seven years of wireless industry experience in retail, wholesale, procurement and international trading. He earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston.
Dunn develops new accounts and additional business for Wireless Works, particularly in the area of international sales. Dunn has nine years of experience in wireless. He previously served as CEO and Co-Founder of a wholesale and retail wireless company in Atlanta, Georgia. Dunn developed many contacts in the international market, helped acquire new customers, managed a direct sales team and managed strategic relationships with manufacturers and operators. In his four years there, the company sustained double-digit growth in annual sales volume. Earlier, Dunn was a manager at Cenergy, a cell phone company in Atlanta. He also served for two years as the Managing Buyer at CellMax, in Ocala, FL. Dunn worked for two years as a Buyer for RMS, an Ocala company focusing on refurbished phones.
Mike Fix is responsible for IT strategy and all IT assets including application development and support, data management, technology infrastructure, data center operations and telecommunications networks. With the goal of bringing world-class IT capabilities to Wireless Works, Fix leverages his prior experience in enabling global supply chains with systems automation. He has embarked on a strategic plan focusing the company's IT investments on the needs of Wireless Works' customers and extending the IT infrastructure to collaborate more effectively with the company's business partners. Previously, Fix spent 12 years at Hewlett Packard, originally joining through Compaq Computer Corp., where he held a variety of technical and management positions leading North American IT efforts in support of marketing, channel management, reverse supply chain, asset management and sales. Fix also led global IT efforts for distribution, manufacturing, supply chain and advanced planning. Fix was the IT leader in the deployment of Compaq's first B2B and e-commerce presences. He earned a B.S. degree in Math and Computing Science from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
