Wireless Works Enables Manufacturer To Deliver for Network Operator

Challenge:
With only five days’ notice, a Manufacturer asked Wireless Works for a 1,000 unit-per-week repair capacity, ramping up to 2,000 units per week. Each unit required component level repair and refurbishment back to original specifications. In addition, the client needed 48-hour turnaround, shipping back 200 units per day, with detailed reporting.

Solution:
Wireless Works provided 1,500 unit-per-week capacity to accommodate dramatic growth anticipated from a promotional campaign run by the Manufacturer’s customer, a Network Operator. Repairs were accomplished ahead of schedule and repair return rates are lower than any previously experienced by the Manufacturer.

Result:
Manufacturer was able to meet demand from the Network Operator without putting undue strain on the vendor’s existing repair network. Wireless Works is negotiating more projects as a result of this success.

Wireless Works produced 1,500 units per week of the selected models to meet the demand generated by the Network Operator’s marketing campaign. In addition, Wireless Works mobilized its sales team to work directly with the Network Operator’s regional markets and B2B groups in receiving orders from retail stores and indirect (agent) stores.
